Saucepan Preparation: 1. Bring 1-2/3 cups water and 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) margarine or butter to a boil in a medium saucepan. 2. Stir in contents of stuffing mix pouch; cover. 3. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. In-the-Bird, Preparation: Prepare stuffing according to package directions. Do not stuff bird until ready to roast. Rinse poultry with cold water. Pat dry, salt lightly. Stuff cavities with prepared stuffing (using approximately 1/2 cup stuffing per pound of ready-to-cook poultry). Note: Refrigerate any leftover stuffing. Microwave (Microwave ovens vary. Cooking time is approximate): Mix contents of stuffing mix pouch with 1-2/3 cups hot water and 1/4 cup margarine or butter (cut into pieces) in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover. Microwave on high power approximately 5 to 6 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
