MICROWAVE FUDGE 1 PKG. FUDGE MIX 1/4 CUP WHOLE OR 2% MILK 6 TBSP. (3/4 STICK) BUTTER 1/2 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS (OPTIONAL) Empty package of Fudge Mix into a medium glass dish and stir in milk (mixture will be too thick to completely blend). Place butter on top of mixture. Microwave on high for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. If butter has not completely melted, it will melt when it is stirred. Mix with an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in nuts if desired. Four into an 8 x 8-inch waxed paper lined pan. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour or in freezer for 1/2 hour. Cut into squares. Makes 16 squares Stovetop Method: In a heavy saucepan, melt 6 Tbsp. butter. Remove from heat and gradually stir in Fudge Mix. Add 1/4 cup milk, whisk vigorously over medium heat until smooth, about 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in 1/2 cup walnuts if desired. Pour into an 8 x 8-inch waxed paper lined pan.
