Additional details: This necklace features three pieces of fossilized Petowsky Jasper in natural shades of brown and green with copper beads forming the chain and a toggle/bar closure. Petowsky Jasper is found in Michigan and displays fossils of sea creatures found in the inland ocean that once covered the area. It is named for a French settler who lived among the local Indians and traded the stones.
