Entire Box = 16 cups water, 6 tbsp margarine or butter, 1 1/4 tsp salt [optional], 2 cups milk, 4 cups flakes.) Note: Prepare entire box recipe in a 10-quart stock pot and stir with a whisk. Microwave: 1. Combine water, margarine, salt, milk and potato flakes in a microwave-safe bowl; cover. 2. Microwave on High using chart. (2 Servings = 2 to 2 1/2 minutes; 4 servings = 3 to 3 1/2 minutes; 6 servings = 4 1/2 to 5 minutes.) 3. Stir with fork until potatoes are desired consistency.
